I’m voting against Gillespie in June and for Corey Stewart and I will not vote for Gillespie in November if he is nominated.
I guess the VAGOP wants to lose another Governor’s race.
The VAGOP is run by people who, in the election booths in November, pull the (D) lever.
I’ll back whomever the GOP nominates. I’m not a big fan of Gillespie either, but he’s superior to the dems out there. Unfortunately, with liberal infestation in the occupied North, Virginia doesn’t elect staunch conservatives like Cuccinelli to statewide office anymore.
Gillespie is a variation on the Dole/McCain/Romney “whose turn is it?” strategy. His RNC experience should serve him well! [/s]
or maybe you do. After all the ‘VAGOP’ doesn’t have a vote in the primary, just the actual voters of the state. And you are the one who said you wouldn’t vote for a GOP governor if it wasn’t the person you wanted. Which is your choice.
I am glad though not to live in a state where the establishment dictates the candidate in a backroom deal. I realize some people want the elite to control the primary process, so long as the candidate they personally support is the one the elite push to victory.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be unhappy with how the primary voters vote, but hardly unhappy enough to put up with another 4 years of a democrat as governor.

So, you want a Leftist Democrat to win the Governorship if Gillespie makes it to the General Election?
By not supporting the GOP Candidate you help the Democrat Candidate get Elected. That’s an interesting strategy.
Carry on...
If I lived in Virginia, I’d “cross-over” to vote for the Sanders progressive candidate also. Good idea!
