So many symbolic decisions, so little time. They remind me of the football player who spikes the ball and celebrates just before crossing into the end zone. What kind of person puts that much energy and attention into celebrating a victory without first securing the victory? I’m sorry...I don’t buy it all. I don’t believe a word. I don’t think for one minute that Obama wanted her to concede for the good of the country. I do not for one minute believe she was this calm. I think this book was written to give us a dishonest view of what went on and to portray her in a much better light. They threw in some realism but I’ve no doubt the ignored a lot of stuff.
The way the authors told the story of her anger and sadness- would this have been written about a man? If not, why not?

I'm glad I wasn't at work, because it would have been difficult for me to contain my excitement. I learned from a couple of folks that it looked like someone had died, because there are so many libs, and they were just crushed. One of my friends told me, the day I returned, that the Manager had sent out an e-mail the day after the election, reminding folks that politics wasn't an acceptable topic, because of the possibility of arguments among fellow employees.
