DALLAS -- Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Donald Trump Jr. will headline the Reagan Day Dinner hosted by the Dallas County Republican's Party Saturday evening.
The event will take place at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas and includes a meet and greet with Republican leaders and dinner. Attendees have to purchase tickets starting at $150 and going up to $25,000.
This is the second meeting between the Trump family and Ted Cruz in recent weeks. Senator Cruz and his wife recently had dinner with President Trump, tweeting a photo of the Cruz family's children with the President afterwards.
Yeah, Cruz has turned off everyone in the Senate. He is NOT liked.
I'd like to see Ted on the Court, however he'd better hurry before midterms possibly change things. Doddering Ginsburg dedicated to staying in the Court until at least 5 years after her death.
Have Don Jr. there to make sure people show up...
Exactly!! Don Jr IS the draw, not cRuz. Nice of Jr to have dinner w/cRuz, though.
In case you slept through the primaries....

Wiser words were never spoken!
Too bad he can’t be more like Lindsey Graham.
Are you a mod?
If not, then how about YOU give it a rest?
Well, when he first got there, he said he didn’t run to make 99 new friends
I bet my dentist’s son attended. I took a picture of a framed picture of him and President Trump from the inauguration when I was at the dentist last week.
Sorry, meant to say Cruz is a VERY good man. And one of the best conservative minds around.
“Yeah, Cruz has turned off everyone in the Senate. He is NOT liked.”
As opposed to your buddies McConnell. McCain and Graham.
Not being popular in the House and Senate is a bad thing?
And then some...
Like the old cowboy said, with a cigarette bobbing in the corner of his lips, “I spent 75% of my money on whiskey, women and horses. And the rest I just wasted.”
I LIKE THAT!! I would have to change horses to sports cars, but I LIKE IT!
Well .. so much the better .. being a leader is NOT a popularity contest; it’s a leader contest.
I agree that Ted got off to a bad start in his pursuit for the Presidency .. but that did not disqualify him as a person. Ted’s one mistake: He listened to another person tell him that “Ted was chosen to be the President”.
HERE’S A TIP FOR EVERYBODY .. DON’T EVER BELIEVE ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU .. YOU ARE “CHOSEN” TO BE ANYTHHING. First of all, GOD is the only person who can tell you such a thing. Not your friends, your family, etc. The secret is - you NEED TO BELIEVE AND UNDERSTAND THAT GOD CAN SPEAK TO YOU PERSONALLY .. AND ONLY AFTER GOD SPEAKS TO YOU PERSONALLY; only then, that personal word from GOD can be CONFIRMED BY OTHER BELIEVERS (not non-believers).
President Trump can help Ted to realize that truth. I see the potential for Ted to fulfill all GOD has called him to do .. but only Ted can know what that is.
Just curious what you guys think as to how important his past lies are compared to his conservative voting record.
Really ..??
Can’t believe I messed up on that one. LOL
Core values. You don’t wake up one day and say that you are going to be a good, honest, ethical person.
People can change.
But it’s unusual, you are right.
But if he votes the right way a LOT more than an honest person, which is more important for US NOW?
His conservative rating isn’t a lie and it’s not a popularity contest.
running for president, a person is and should be held to a higher standard.
