You’re probably on the right track. With the Clinton foundation not taking in any more money, Chelsea actually has to work for a living. Plus she gets in front of the camera, which is probably good publicity for a future political career.
in her case “has to work” translates to “wants to do something cooler than sitting around home all day raising her own kids”. All the cool people have jobs so they can go to Starbucks and out for lunch and take selfies with each other and stuff.
But I’m not sure the Clinton Money Laundering Foundation doesn’t have a place for her yet, she’ll probably milk it til the bitter end and then go work for one of their “friends” who just happens to owe the Clintons, bigly.
