The St. Louis County Police Association is calling a painting placed in the U.S. Capitol complex by Rep. William Lacy Clay a punch in the mouth for depicting police officers as animals.
Clay, D-St. Louis, said he would not take it down, despite criticism from conservative bloggers and a call from a Fox News commentator for it to be taken down.
The painting, which has hung for months in a tunnel that connects House office buildings with the U.S. Capitol, was chosen the winner of Clays annual art competition for St. Louis students last spring. It was done by then-Cardinal Ritter Prep senior David Pulphus....

That’s ok.
Just like it was “Giuliani Time” in the 90s in NY, it will be “Trump Time” across the country starting in 20 days.

Let it hang.
The right to free expression is a right for all of us.
Remind the left of this fact when they are offended over something. Do not let them get away with their hypocrisy.
Political correctness is used as a club for the left to shape the argument. By supporting offensive art they in effect say that the right “not to be offended” is not really a right at all.

Police are depicted as sub-human and thugs as human. Bell curve confusion.

Another Rep should put up a photo collage of feral mall yutes rioting right next to it. Perhaps then Clay would change his mind.

Seems like reproducing that artwork and putting it into e-mail and mailers would be a very productive endeavor for anyone who wishes to challenge his seat. ‘When constituents objected to the ‘winning’ artwork which depicts police officers as animals, the tone deaf Representative said that it didn't matter what the people said. Make your voice loud and clear this (primary or general date), vote him out!’

You have to give the student “artist” time to discover that there are three dimensions.

A leftist tactic would be for some “activist” to deface it, and then claim loudly to the media they were “triggered” and victimized by such a divisive painting.
....not that I’m suggesting anyone do that....

That “art” is obviously the result of some affirmative-action action. From the looks of it, it belongs in a landfill. What crapola!
