That is right about the time we fed Trump’s team data that said that he was on the verge of a total blowout, likely to win MN, NM, CO, NV, MI, PA, and even NJ. That’s when the tape came out, and erased some of those, but not enough.

No – the second debate was October 5th, the Access Hollywood story was revealed by the WashPost two days later.
Like abb said, the Clinton team was clearly panicked by Trump’s surging numbers and was forced to use their ace too early, they were saving it for the last week before the election.
A huge strategic mistake by Clinton, in retrospect.
