Trumps choices for his staff and cabinet are impressive. Not the usual retreads.

This is another great choice.

For someone who is not interested in Draining the Swamp (as Newtie just alluded to) Trump is sure picking some non political - outside the Beltway types for his administration.

Go Donald!

When they talk about the left, I don’t usually hear things like “Billionaire owner Bill Gates.”

Oh, he's interested in draining the swamp. He is also interested in remaining a moving target, and getting adversaries to focus on the wrong thing as he moves on.

See the pattern here? Most of the appointees are wealthy enough to not be influenced by bribes from the lobbyist and special interest crowd that have controlled the District of Corruption for the past 50 years or more. Go TRUMP!

Newtie likes to pretend that he "knows" stuff he doesn't and spread it around, like cow flop at a dairy farm.

Newtie needs to just SHUT UP!

This is excellent! As for liberal criticism of Icahn having a role in selecting an SEC chairman, always remember that Joe Kennedy was selected as the first chairman of that agency. He was a known stock manipulator, but the thought was that it takes a thief to catch a thief. Icahn knows where all the bodies are buried, what regulations work or don’t, and what is broken on the street. Excellent choice from a President who thinks outside of the box.

The MAGA movement should be permanent. No more people running for elective office unless they have been successful in the private sector = creating jobs, living off their own income, proven honesty and competence. Just take a look at the likes of Harry Reid - a lifetime political hack - and very rich off the taxpayers and bribes. Time to drain the swamp and build a damn dam!!!!!!

Carl knows far more than Papa Joe ever did, about "THE MARKET" and how "WALL STREET" DOES and SHOULD work, but doesn't.

He's also an old, trusted friend, whom Trump knows won't lie to him, nor do/say anything stupid.

From my perspective, one measure of success for a Trump Presidency is whether DC suburb residential real estate prices level off or even decrease. They’ve undergone a boom in the Obama years.
