The Delegitimization Of Donald Trump
US News & World Report ^ | December 20, 2016 | David Catanese, Senior Politics Writer

In a typical year, Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign would go down as one of the most startlingly deficient endeavors in political history.

But a postliminary campaign by Clinton allies to shape why the heavily favored and first major party female nominee lost to an eccentric billionaire reality television star is already bending the storyline in their favor through a concerted media offensive meant to undermine the president-elect, his tactics and the ultimate outcome.

The Clinton campaign's stunning and largely unforeseen loss has only hardened its own resolve to win the post-mortem of how it happened. In the six weeks since the election, her aides have cited white supremacy, FBI Director James Comey, the apparent Russian hacking of campaign emails and a delinquent press corps as primary reasons for Clinton's loss.

While the messaging has evolved, the motive has becoming strikingly apparent: It's an unrepentant effort to delegitimize President-elect Donald Trump and absolve Clinton of the lion's share of electoral liability.

"Their intent to try to rewrite the history books is super obvious," says Chip Englander, a Chicago-based Republican consultant who ran Rand Paul's 2016 presidential campaign. "The history books are not written by losers. She lost the election because she broke the law and didn't bother to campaign in swing states. She's got nobody to blame but herself."(continued)

It seems like the efforts of the democrat-party thugs to hurt President-Elect Trump just make President Trump stronger!

Good. I hope the MSM keeps it up. Then Trump will not change his low and adversarial opinion of the MSM going forward. The MSM is the enemy but they aren't very smart.

Hillary and Obama are going to compete with each other to run the “Shadow Government” to resist Trump.

Trump won at his announcement when he said he will build a wall.

“And the rest is rust and stardust.”

...and a delinquent press corps as primary reasons for Clinton’s loss...

Delinquent? How? About the only thing they didn’t do to Trump was to physically assault and batter him. What BS.
The only thing they didnt blame the huge Hillary loss on was an invasion from Alpha Centauri. That’s next.

“The Emails Were Factual.”

The press loves it when they steal and publish government secrets and wring every detail from it to suit their purposes. And now? They don’t even want to discuss the content. They merely just want to kill the messenger, belittle the recipients, and trash DJT, who may just be a bystander to the entire process.

Another cowardly media outfit with no comment section.
This crap is what a news magazine columnist does when he has no point except his pencil. The idea that the Left has grabbed the narrative is ridiculous.
By all standards (metrics), the Democrat Party, and its fellow travelers and sycophants, has hit bottom and refuses to listen to its base. Even Democrats don’t like the Democrats.

The only reason HRC didn’t win was because unlike their propping up losers like Dole, McCain, and Romney, the GOP unexpectedly failed to prop up a predestined loser like Bush, Marco or even Cruz for 2016.

The GOP has been the Left’s best friend since 1900. Since 1900, we’ve had basically two good Presidents: Cool Cal, who got there because President Harding died, and Reagan who the GOP hated.

Trump got in there despite the GOP’s hatred of him. IMO, God stepped in and prompted Trump to take on the corrupt GOP establishment because God is not finished with America and has good plans yet in store. IMO, Trump has the potential of being among the best Presidents in the last 116 years

A good sign the Republican candidate is the right guy and a winning candidate is if the GOP hates him. The GOP are basically losers and the “useful idiots” of the Left.

So who was the good Democrat president since 1900?

IMO, since 1900, we’ve had basically two good Presidents - neither one was a Democrat.

How long until their ‘owners’ realize they have nothing to give? They will be powerless. The money will dry up. Hillary’s billionaires are unhappy with their return on investing in the loser.

I don’t know how worthless it is, but it is not worth zero. There are people who are entrenched in the Federal bureaucracy and Courts who probably will take their marching orders from Clinton and Obama from years to come. And Democrats in Congress will give them cover (to the degree they can). Plus they have residual influence in the Press.

The question is: How effectively can Trump clean house?

BTW I think Harding gets overlooked. Yeah I know about Teapot Done but he responded to the downturn of 1919 by actually cutting federal spending 50% and taxes by 40%!

“Their intent to try to rewrite the history books is super obvious,”

The only thing that strikes me as “super obvious’ is that the DemParty doesn’t yet have the necessary skills, nor policies; to ever become a very serious threat in our future elections.

The leftists ultimately rose and fell beneath the stupidity of the Clinton® non-campaign strategy of non-stop fund raising; rather than engaging the voters as Trump did.

Trump offered a vision -

A vision of making America as once it was!

Trump/Pence MAGA!
