By all accounts he was a good governor.
But the day Terry died I said then, the spirit has departed. He will never be president. I could be wrong, he seems to be a basically good man, but he has no steel in his spine, and no clear guiding political principle.
I did question at one point if maybe I was wrong about him, and then he attacked Governor Brewer for trying to deal with immigration in Arizona, and then he attacked the tea party, and then he said he did not need conservatives to win. And I thought, no, I’m right about him. He has no clear guiding principle other than the idea that its his turn. Which puts him basically in league with Romney.

When he went after the Daughters of Texas over the Alamo, I think he ended his presidential career right there.

I’m sure Jeb will see a lot of support for term limits, a balanced budget amendment, and Commerce Clause reform among his beloved Latino constituency. Those ideas are super popular in Mexico.

Jeb! Bush murdered Terri Schiavo.
I will never forget, and will never forgive until Jeb! repents. And I will never forget.

Interesting, when one stops to consider that Yebbie is not a conservative.

That is muddle-headed.
What about the actual plaintiffs in the case? Do they get any kind of hearing before Congress?
Better simply to strip the Supreme Court of their jurisdiction over abortion, marriage, etc.
Which Congress COULD HAVE DONE ANYTIME with a SIMPLE MAJORITY.

He is free to make a fresh start, not to revive the old but to begin again as if for the first time. Except he has to ask his mom first.

“I was well impressed with former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) after a magazine profile appeared on him when he first entered the run for the GOP nomination for president.”
Well, you’re not very bright, are you, Zippy?

There are no conservatives left, just different shades of left.
