Depending on their state laws/state party regulations, they could find their votes nullified, thus reducing the 270 number needed.

When MI ended it recount, that ended Clinton’s chances. She would have needed MI, WI, and PA to win. Trump would have needed only one of those three.

> Tin foil hat time....Soros pays off 37 Electors to switch vote.
I don't think there's any need to wear a tin foil hat. You can almost guarantee it. It this turns out to be the case the electors should be prosecuted with aggravated charges with no chance of making bail. How do we know these guys aren't plants? And why make a decision to vote Trump on election night then suddenly change their vote now? I don't buy their bull$hit answers. Almost all are Hispanic and someone is meddling. The who is what we need to know.

Why the heck did he choose to be an elector? Idiot.

Some of the electors are so young and inexperienced you wonder who the hell picked them and if this was a fallback plan because most seem to be Hispanic...makes you wonder if we need to look at them a little closer. Maybe a check of their bank accounts might reveal some payoffs by leftist funded groups...I'm less concerned about the leftist in this matter than I am about the GOPe. Lets just say, I've never felt comfortable about Utah's 6 votes.

They need to do a test vote without telling the electors it’s a test vote. Identify the traitors, get rid of them, and then revote.

I thought the candidates themselves chose their electors. It’s not supposed be a prize from a Cracker Jack box.

No, the candidates have never had any say in the appointment of electors.

It’s time to replace this guy.

Not just a fool, an arrogant a-hole. As an elector, one of only 538, if he votes against the will of his state's voters than he is taking it upon himself to utilize his one politically appointed vote to nullify the lawfully cast votes of hundreds of thousands of voters. He is giving the finger to the voters in his state and the party that put him in this position and saying "I will decide, not you!"
He needs to be shunned forever more for treating fellow americans with such disdain.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Aren’t there some laws in the various states that require that the electors vote for the person who won that particular state?
This is a real question — I thought I read something like that, but would like to find out what is the actual situation.
Thanks.
