It looks like deft moves by Trump. This would be good for the GOP. Also Senators wanting to play to the liberal media, McCain and Graham, may become irrelevant.

Wishful thinking. The governor of West Virginia is a Democrat so a Democrat would be appointed to replace Manchin. And Heitkamp knows why she’s being considered so why would she play along?
