WHY I AM STILL VOTING FOR TRUMP
ISRAPUNDIT ^ | Oct 15/16 | Ted Belman

Posted on 10/15/2016 4:56:19 AM PDT by tedbel

Last week, a number of women came forward alleging that Donald Trump made unwanted sexual assaults on them including “groping”.

To their credit, a number of Christian leaders, stood by him by giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I would go further. For the sake of argument, I would assume the allegations were true, but would still vote for him.

Donald trump is against political correctness, globalization, open-borders, unrestricted immigration, trashing the Constitution, crony capitalism and corruption. Hillary Clinton, the opposite. She wallows in the latter two.

Donald Trump wants to achieve “peace through strength” as President Reagan did. He wants to cancel the Iran Deal, support our friends and allies, stop the growing hegemony of Iran and defeat ISIS. Hillary Clinton, not so much.

Donald Trump names the enemy as “radical Islam” whereas Hillary Clinton refuses to do so. I, on the other hand, see Islam as the enemy. The adjective “radical” adds nothing. There is only one Islam and it is radical. Donald Trump wants to be free to be critical of Islam. Hillary Clinton wants to impose a gag order on criticism of Islam and even to make it a crime.

Donald Trump is a friend of Israel. He wants to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital and to move the US Embassy there. He supports settlement construction and is open to alternate solutions to solve the conflict. Hillary Clinton supports the continuation of President Obama’s policies of freezing settlement construction and imposing the two-state solution on Israel along the 1949 ceasefire lines with a division of Jerusalem.

We differ on one thing. I WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ASSUME THE ALLEGATIONS WERE TRUE. Whatever happened to “Innocent until PROVEN guilty?” It USED TO BE the foundation of our justice system. Its eems that our current population would rather go along with anything a journalist says in preference to turning on their own thought processes.
Donald Trump has been a celebrity for decades. Why have there not been dozens of attacks on him before he ran for the presidency? Look at the creeps attacking him. WHERE ARE YOUR BRAINS, PEOPLE??????????????????

One would think Trump has servived the sexual groping crisis. Each blatant false allegation has been shown to be wrong. Michelle O. brings us a “terrified” woman who can’t believe this material. Funny, the average person doesn’t believe MO regardless of what she says.Only Trump can make a difference in the approach by pointing out this stuff and THEN going to the issues that got him to this point. Hillary is hiding and always has been. She has no issues. Pa. Ads keep saying she is forthe women and children but can’t bring up one thing she has done for them. The Clintons and Obamas have stolen $Billions and they are getting desparate. They will even start a war to hide their crimes. Trump needs to address these points quickly.

Here’s the rest of it

These are profound differences. Even if Trumps unwanted sexual advances reached the level of Bill Clinton’s, I would still vote for him. Too much is at stake. The future of America is on the line.

On the other hand, for the sake of argument, let us assume that their platforms are identical. One is left to decide whom to vote for based only on their track records and character traits.
Donald Trump is a sexual predator who stops short of rape or using force. He is a tough businessman in a tough business. He has built a very successful real estate company. He is a fighter and a winner.

Hillary Clinton is a pathological liar and fraud artist. The facts are such as to lead many to believe that if tried in a court of law, she would be convicted of many serious crimes. These include, lying to Congress, destroying evidence after receiving a subpoena, selling access to the State Department and government for cash, treason and many more.

To vote for Hillary, or even not vote for Trump, is to trust the future prospects of our liberty to the Marxist oligarchs that will result from her Supreme Court appointees. To get liberty back once lost will require great sacrifice. Thus, these allegations against Trump don’t come close to making me reconsider voting for him.

Mollypitcher,

You are absolutely correct!

Tedbel,

In America we are innocent until proven guilty.

The media and the DNC are in cahoots and conspire to trash Republican candidates with cr@p allegations.
That’s how they roll.

Oh, and by the way FR rules say not to except articles from ones own blog.

That’s why I posted the rest of the article.

So we have two choices and they both suck.

One of them can do pretty much anything and the media (and other Party) pretty much turns a blind eye, or even helps cover up.

The other is disliked by the powerful elite in both Parties and the media goes out of their way to dig stuff up on them. (Pretty much what the media is supposed to do).

Seems to me it's better to have someone who won't get away with everything and anything.

> I WOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ASSUME THE ALLEGATIONS WERE TRUE.

I don’t assume it but sometimes you have to stipulate something like that to get a discussion going. “let’s assume it’s true for this discussion and talk about who will do the best for the country in the future”. If you want to win the allegations argument first you’ll never get to the “who’s best” argument.

> Whatever happened to “Innocent until PROVEN guilty?”
That’s a limit on the government, not me. I personally am sure Hillary is guilty and should be in jail. Nothing forces me to assume she’s innocent until proven otherwise.

The left has been wondering why these attacks on Trump haven’t taken him down. The answer is simple: it is impossible to make him worse than his opponent.

He hasn’t killed four people in Benghazi. He hasn’t sold weapons to ISIS. He hasn’t committed treason.

They can’t make him worse and they can’t make her better.

I’m liking Trump more. He’s standing up to the mud slinging. Any other candidate would have wimped out by now. But not Trump. Thanks, Hellary, for showing the world how much backbone he has. He won’t send draw lines in the sand or send sternly worded letters to our enemies. He will be a strong leader and protect America.

No; they DON’T both suck.

Some of us believe God is using Trump for a noble purpose. He used Rahab, a prostitute and a liar (and is in the lineage of Jesus). He used David, an adulterer and a murderer.

Yup. The way the msm is, I think DJT’s comment about shooting someone on Broadway would actually work for helldabama. Even with a live video feed of the event, the msm would give her a pass.

I expect the Democrat press slaves will bring forth an unending stream of Trump-denouncing bimbos from now until the election. Every day we will see a new one, with a new “groping” story.

But on the day after the election, everybody in the media had better update their resumés and hire bodyguards. The backlash will be fierce, no matter how the election turns out. We will not “forgive and forget” this crap!

This has obviously been well-planned for a long time. These women did not come forward during the primaries because Hillary wanted Trump to be her opponent. It's not going to let up between now and November 8th. Meanwhile Hillary's old scandals are being forgotten and the new information from Wikileaks is getting almost zero attention (other than on Hannity and perhaps a couple other FNC programs).

It's hard to prove a negative which is what Trump is faced with. It may well be that every one of these women will be proven to be lying but the harm is still done and people will have voted before the truth comes out (see Ted Stevens' last Senate race).

If Trump did these things, it was reckless of him to run for President knowing these stories would come out sooner or later, which is another reason for giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Good points.

I don’t presume to know what He is doing or how Trump is an instrument of His will. But I think it is absurd, to think that only perfect unstained people, will be part of His plans or used for His purposes. The examples you cited are perfect examples of this.

I have one issue with this article.

I definitely would not assume Trump is guilty, I know how Hillary operates. I would bet big money I don’t have she orchestrated this, it’s her standard operating procedure.

We’re 3 weeks from a major election, Hillary is not pulling the thousands of people to her rallies we see at Trump rallies, her numbers were going down, Trump mopped the floor with her at the 2nd debate, and it’s time for her to get into the gutter to begin with, it’s what she always does just before an election.

I just posted a link to this article in another thread, Mike Huckabee has run against the Clintons before and watched the exact same thing happen to him.

http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/10/15/mike-huckabee-clinton-machine-hillary-clinton-donald-trump-arkansas-fabricate-investigate?intcmp=ob_article_footer

The last month of an election, the Clintons will do absolutely anything, no matter how dirty or dishonest, to destroy their opponent.

No, I would assume Trump is NOT guilty...I would assume it’;s all hogwash, same as in every Clinton election for years. Same happened to McCain...but he deserved it...
