ESTERO - Hundreds of law enforcement officers from all across Lee County are gathering at Germain Arena in Estero.
It's all part of this year's "Law and Order" Ball, which is the first time the annual gala honoring law enforcement is being held in the 7,000-seat arena.
But that's not the only big event coming to Germain this week as preparations for Monday's Donald Trump rally are set to get underway in just a matter of hours.
"It's pretty cool having somebody that could be the potential next president of the United States coming so close," said Estero resident Michael Gulino.
"I'm actually pleasantly surprised that a nominee was coming to this area," said Estero resident Gretchen Strait.
The senior vice president of Germain told us that preparations for the rally will begin as soon as the ball wraps up. Crews will immediately begin to clear the floor, which means taking down hundreds of tables and setting up a stage for the Republican presidential nominee to speak on....
