The Republican presidential candidate will be stopping in Duplin County next week.
Donald Trump will make a campaign stop at Duplin County Events Center in Kenansville on Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. Doors open at 3 p.m.
Tickets, which are free, are available on a first come, first serve basis at donaldjtrump.com. There is a limit of two tickets per mobile number.
This is the candidates first stop in Duplin County and the closest rally to Onslow. He has previously held events in Wilmington, Fayetteville and Greenville.
Wine country. Be sure to try the Scuppernong Blush.
I was born in Rosehill, Duplin County 65 years ago. My dad was stationed at Camp Lejune.
Go Tarheels!
I see Hillary, Chelsea and rest of campaign are spending a lot of time in NC. Getting those early votes in before the debates.
Futile waste of time, NC is going Trump.
I find this very interesting. Duplin County is one of the more rural areas of the state. My wife and I have a condo at OIB and driving down I-40 from our home Cary we pass through Duplin County. We see the signs for the wine. I always want to stop, but my wife points to our two miniature Schnauzers in the back seat and says we are going to the beach non-stop. My question is why is Trump going to small venues? The only plausible answer is that he is campaigning for the electoral college vote and he wants to make sure NC is in his column.
I am in Cabarrus County (Concord) and go through that area a few times a year.
I think Trump understands the power of communications and going to these venues gives many a chance to voice their concerns. He helps them understand their importantance, and that is quite noble.
He shows relentless energy for all walks of life.
There is absolutely no sign of Trump or even the election in Charlotte. Trump must win a lot of votes in Charlotte/Mecklenburg County if he is to win North Carolina. I am not sure what is going on, but if any of you other North Carolina folks want to come to Charlotte and knock on doors or get Trump signs out here, please come now. Other parts of Mecklenburg County have the Trump appearance, but not Charlotte. Help!
