The example with the Mexican election is precisely why I believe we shouldn't recognize "dual citizenship". People who's first loyalty is to a foreign nation should not be having any input in who our country's election. Furthermore, what other countries view as "conservative" is very different than how we define it here. That's especially true in Israel, where taxpayer funded abortion-on-demand is a policy enacted by the "conservative" government.
I find it bizarre that Trump has four campaign offices in Israel and only one in Florida. I can't imagine it helping him much unless he plans to move to Israel and run for office in the Knesset. There are American citizens living in Israel, but not enough to swing the difference in whatever their home state. American Jews living here far outnumber them in the vote count, and they vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Also, as you pointed out, there are far more Americans living abroad in Mexico than in Israel. How many campaign offices did Donald open in Mexico before he erects his yuuuuuuuuuge wall?
I miss all you ILlinois FReepers.
