My mother swears by PBS and NPR, I can’t convince her they are no better than anyone else, owned and operated by Democrats with large donations to the Democrat party,. She still thinks they are the final word in news, every word they say is carved in stone.
As I said in another thread not long ago, people have been brainwashed to believe the press is beyond reproach, they have some kind of built in imperative to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And they’re telling them exactly what they want to hear, so it’s near impossible to convince people they are being lied to.
And that’s why we have millions of low information voters...

PBS also understands that the truth crushes them. It is going to be one hell of a fight to destroy the corruption.

I agree! I was at the rally in Everett, WA on Tuesday - the arena was packed with about 10,000 enthusiastic, energetic, supportive, and LOUD fans! Read/heard that there were thousands outside that couldn’t get in. I got in line about 2:15 and the line was already long. Before they started letting people in, the line was over 10 city blocks long. People came from all over WA and possibly other states (one woman was there from Canada - can’t vote but wanted to show her support).
The Cascade mountains divide the red half of the state (Romney won all counties east of the mountains in 2012) and the blue half - Obama won all counties (except possibly one) west of the mountains. Unfortunately, the largest population county is King County (Seattle metro area) and there are some of us conservatives here, but many more libs/socialists. Romney lost the state by about 485k votes in 2012.
