There are at least 15,000 members of the media in Philadelphia right now, along with virtually every progressive movement leader and Democratic elected official in the country.
Yet no one seemed aware that hundreds of Bernie Sanders delegates planned to walk out of the Democratic National Convention in unison Tuesday, at the precise moment party unity was supposed to reach a crescendo.

There were alternates as well and guests. That’s a big walkout for the media to ignore.
Next, on the right margin should be some reprinted Twitter posts (known as tweets). At the bottom of this section it says 'View on Twitter'. Click on this. The resulting page can be viewed without signing up for Twitter. Just hit escape to cancel the 'sign up or log in' nag and Bob's your uncle. Note that professor Reynolds only originates a small portion of these; the majority are reposts ('retweets') of what others have posted that he thinks we would find interesting. Lotsa cogent, snarky, mostly conservative thoughts follow like a flood tide.
This is a really good way to try and make sense of twitter without joining.
