Ted Cruz’s first Senate speech since he dropped his presidential bid led to a testy exchange with an old nemesis, the GOP’s 2008 nominee, Arizona Sen. John McCain.
McCain called Cruz a “wacko bird” early in the Texan’s tenure. He recently swatted away as ridiculous the idea that he might welcome Cruz’s support in his own re-election campaign.
And on Tuesday, McCain accused Cruz of looking for a pretext to distance himself from a bipartisan defense bill that McCain has worked on for months and of which he was proud, and said he’d be much more open to Cruz’s ideas “if he would consider voting for the defense of this nation.”
The Armed Services Committee, which McCain chairs, outraged Cruz and other conservatives by including in the annual defense bill a provision that would require women to register for a potential draft. Cruz was one of three senators on the committee to vote against the bill last month....

Nothing but homos and idiots want little girls to register for the draft. It isn’t an “either or”. Its no women in combat.
But its crap to register little girls as a tool to achieve another goal. Freaking immoral.
Ted Cruz is no longer in the race. Get over it.

I favor bringing back the draft for every American male and female. Use them for logistical purposes from KP to driving truck and as a basis for every American to serve in the regular military. It was once a passage to adulthood. We need to quit paying over paid but taxpayer trained contractors that exit the military for more money. It would give every young American a mission with educational benefits.
I'll believe that when I here Cruz say it. So far he is silent.

How about they register for the draft, are eligible for combat...and we have one physical fitness standard so that both of the first two are completely irrelevant.
Media shall refuse to allow that question.

Cruz’s still on the ballot, so is Kasich. That’s what he means, he’s not supporting Cruz, he’s making fun of him.
