Would Bernie Sanders agree to be Hillary Clinton's running mate? He didn't rule it out when asked about it on NBC's "Meet the Press." Sanders told Chuck Todd he's focused on the California primary, but stopped short of refusing the offer should Clinton ask.
"Here we are in California, I'm knocking my brains out to win the Democratic nomination," Sanders said. "What happens afterwards, we will see. But right now, my focus is on winning the nomination."
The Vermont Senator called the California primary "the big enchilada." While Sanders admitted winning more pledged delegates than Secretary Clinton is an "uphill fight," California remains an important piece of that puzzle....

Trump needs to tell voters to take a look at the collapse of socialism in Venezuela!! I certainly thought this ridiculous “Feel the Bern” craze would have faded by now!!!
Venezuelans are paying exorbitant prices for food if they can find any. Government offices and services are closed!! And there is utter chaos in the street with riots and crime as people grow desperate for basic needs.
This is what Bernie wants to inflict on the United States!!
It’s way past time to educate the masses to all the dire consequences of socialism that Sanders is trying to force upon us!!!

Excellent question.
Remember in 1972, after VP candidate Eagleton withdrew from the Democrat ticket, Sargent Shriver was chosed as McGovern’s running mate. This was after the convention.
If I recall correctly, the Democratic National Committee replaced Eagleton with Shriver. It was not the entire convention, just a small group of insiders who put Shriver on the ticket. I assume something similar would happen, if Hillary had to be replaced on the ticket after the convention.
