The first real consideration is whether Trump is going to choose a presumptive successor or is he going someone that can help move legislation, etc. but is not seen as a successor and thus allowing the field in 8 years to be wide open. I believe the latter would help him solidify the party.
If he asked me, I would tell him to take a woman CEO. If you’re running as an outsider, then run as an outsider.
