After Donald Trumps series of victories in the Republican Partys March primaries, it became clear to everyone that Trump is the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination. But the cheeseheads of Wisconsin may be poised to blunt Trumps momentum. And if Trump loses Wisconsin, he may fail to gain the 1,237 delegates he needs to secure the GOP nod.
Republican activists wont support Trump on the second ballot
Barring an unforeseen collapse, its pretty much impossible for Ted Cruz to end up with more delegates than Donald Trump when the last states vote on June 7. And its impossible for John Kasich to come anywhere close. But as Trumps erratic statements continue to accumulate, the #NeverTrump coalition is quietly organizing to deny Trump the nomination if Trump cant win it on the first ballot. Many of the delegates bound to vote for Trump at the Republican National Convention in July will be free to vote for whomever they choose on a second or third ballot....

Yup, despite the nonsense the Trump team is claiming, they really can’t afford to lose Wisconsin - especially if Cruz wins up with most or all of the delegates.
Polls say Cruz is ahead, but Trump voters have proven very devoted to their leader - so this thing could be close yet. Especially with Kasich stealing a lot of Cruz votes.
If Trump doesn’t get the requisite number of delegates, he will not win on the 2nd or 3rd ballot. So if Trump doesn’t hit the magic number, it is very unlikely he will be nominated.
Stage III OCD is no bar to Freeping.
Trump is the frontrunner; there’s no one else close.
If he doesn’t get the nomination, the party is dead, and his supporters will put his name on the ballot by printing it in the blank space and then putting their X after it.
Even you a paid operative cannot believe this tripe. Trump only had to get 9 delegates from Wis to be on Track to the Nomination. With the MO 12, he does not need Wis at all to win the Nomination. But if Trump wins Wis it shuts off your paycheck.
Donald Trump made some really stupid mistakes last week. I was so disappointed in his inability to know when to just shut up. He did this to himself and to those who support him. I don’t want to worry about losing this to hillary (can never count out some ill informed people)..or having a nail biting election. This was Trump’s to win.. he had a good start.. and then went off the reservation on somethings he just couldn’t grow up on and leave it alone or do it with an adult brain. I didn’t want to see him do this to himself nor watch the nay sayers gloat... so I’ve turned the TV off for the past week.
Come on, Trump... you lose Wisconsin because you do not think before answering those who hate you.. Mr Trump... you are smarter than that! Why even talk to them.. they are not going to do you any favors... just talk to your people and the cameras will follow you. But smart up!!
Doubt it.
I agree. He needs Wisconsin to at least be close not for the delegates but to get questions about last week out of the way.
I'd like to see Ted Cruz in the White House, but that's not realistic. I have no interest in a VP slot for Cruz, but I'd love to see him on the Supreme Court for the next three decades. I may recommend a good book to Trump and see if he'll start negotiating and make some great deals with Cruz.
Note: Trump's VP matters a lot because of his age, but I'd rather see Mike Lee, Jeff Sessions, or someone else who hasn't been running for the presidency in that job. Definitely **NOT** Kasich, Jeb, Rubio, or Christie!
Wisconsin matters not. He will come away with delegates no matter what. Ted will have no momentum in NY. It ends there.
This hard hitting report brought to you by Captain Obvious. Wisconsin is pretty much the last ditch effort to stop Trump from getting 1,237. That’s why the GOPe and their globalist media buddies have been pushing the Trump is violent and hates women narrative 24/7.
Cruz is too stupid to talk to Trump ever. He’s convinced that if he gets to a contested convention he’ll win. How damn dumb can he be?
