Cruz can’t blow up the Democrat party like Trump can.

Trump and Cruz would both cream Hitlerbeast and Sanders, provided no election fraud was occuring.

Also, lol Yglesias, that Ivy League education has him hopping between second-rate blogs to post his banal, hackneyed ‘analysis’.

All the reasons given are part of the body of evidence that makes me pro Trump.

But Cruz & Rubio would be picked off by the Dems on citizenship issues. Scream all you want, but it would happen and give Hillary the oval office. Or Bernie. Doesn’t bear thinking about.

I doubt that Liberals are for the privatization of Social Security.

I figure liberals will vote for Cruz so they can drive the final nail in the natural born clause.

Liberal P.O.S. propaganda website VOX prefers Cruz because he’s most likely to lose for the following reasons:

1. “He’s a much weaker general election candidate”

2. “Running on a nakedly extreme platform and with plenty of intraparty enemies who’ll guarantee a steady stream of bad press.”

3. Cruz is “vetted through the same conservative policy apparatus as everyone else”, that is not an outsider, but an establishment candidate.

4. “People who know him best don’t like him”

5. “nobody thinks he’s likely to win in November”

6. “He should also be the liberal choice for anyone tempted to cross over in an open primary, or just for liberals sitting at home wondering who to root for.”

7. “And compared with Donald Trump he doesn’t offer any outlier downsides”, which I THINK means Cruz is a known quantity and/or has zero cross-over appeal in the general.

So, looks to me like VOX has been reading Free Republic and has figured out, like many of the political analysts at FR, that between Trump and Cruz, Cruz is the least likely to win the general election.

Over the years he has deliberately positioned himself as more authentically right-wing than Mitch McConnell, John Boehner,

A tray of chicken from Buffalo Wild Wings is more authentically right-wing than McConnell and Boehner.

Too easy — because Hillary can beat him in her sleep.

The only Republican she is afraid of is Donald Trump. That is why she is doing everything, with the help of the GOPe, to stop him from becoming the Republican nominee.

Liberals will always tip their hand of who they are afraid of by who they attack the most viciously.

Trump and Clinton are pals. He funded both her Senate and 2008 Presidential campaigns.

Trump and Soros are business partners (and co-defendants in a RICO case.)

Trump financed both Democrats (Carter to Clinton) and establishment RiNOs like McConnell and McCane against TEA Party opponents.

Cruz fought against all of them and caved to no one.

"Twas a time when VOX put out some good stuff - not sure whay this qualifies as because it's all over the board and seems to be a progressive praying for Cruz because Trump's too radical for the progressives.

Of course, If I read it several more times, I may come up with several more analyses of what I think he just said - only two cups of coffee and getting ready to hit the treadmill to wake the rest of the way up in a few.
