That may be true, but it is generally accepted that people vote for the person at the top of ticket. A VP change at the last minute has less impact on election.

Well....may be some truth in practice, but nothing is done illegally. SCOTUS blessed Obamacare as a tax! And Obama executive orders have not been found illegal in courts.

The underlying message here pretty sums up Trump as a person and a candidate. The implication here is that if Cruz does "clean up his act," then Trump is perfectly fine with him as a candidate even if he's not eligible to serve as President of the United States. WTF?

Like I posted above, a VP is much easier to replace at any time. Senator Eagleton was replace shortly before election and another VP nominated without causing any waves.
