To be hispanic is to grow up in or around the culture. Cruz grew up white, not speaking a word of Spanish and still can’t speak a word of Spanish. His democrat opponent in his senate race carried the Spanish vote 70% to 40%. His opponent could also speak Spanish.
I guess it’s more politically correct than the first Canadian president.
