That’s the billion dollar question, is it not?
Seltzer predicted the turnout bump in 2008. More here : http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2016/01/02/big-question-what-will-iowa-caucus-avoiders-do/78019652/
Latest Seltzer poll has first time caucus goers at 29% of respondents.

I don’t trust anything coming out of the GOP or RNC or their RNC/GOP lackeys. Period. Anything out there attacking Trump rather than extolling another favorite candidate is nothing more than a smear on the front runner and is not advancing the process. No more Doles, McCains, Romneys.
Trump may be no real Conservative, but he is right on so many challenges facing the nation that neither party is willing to even talk about, including self proclaimed “conservatives.” (small c intended.”)
Yes, it is. The only way to answer all the rhetorical or actual questions about all the candidates is for the people to VOTE.
Anybody who thinks the thousands who line up and stand in the cold for hours to get into a Trump rally will not go to a caucus or the polls to vote is just not thinking straight.
Having a candidate that has an actual following flies in the face of the GOP long term strategy of selecting candidates that nobody likes.
I am starting to be dismayed by Trump’s increasing petulance
Does it matter? His job is to see a conservative doesn’t get elected.
