I have asked several times here on FR if Yeb! has quite yet. Finally, finally, FINALLY, after all of this time, he’s hanging it up.

‘Bout time. He should have quit long ago.

He should have listened to his mother and simply not run at all. What made him think he had a chance at winning? And why did it take this long for him to figure it out?

He’ll be lucky to post in the top 3 of candidates who don’t have eligibility problems.

Iowa will be a wall that stops most of the candidates.
The field will be cut by half.

Buy it, but don’t drink it.
You have done quite well. Keep it up!

I gave up drinking about 15 years ago, but I will buy a bottle of the best 10+ year old bourbon I can find on the day Yeb! quits

I'll take one for the team and send you my address.

I did not give it up because of any problem other than after 40 it hurt the next morning.
I just didn’t enjoy it anymore.
I will toast Yeb! throwing in the towel.

Don't trust the source, but he has to face reality sooner or later.

I only have one comment on the subject:

Then enjoy.
It won’t be long before Yeb’s donors start looking for another horse to ride.

Maybe this is Trump’s surprise guest on Tuesday.

Smarts have nothing to do with it. He ran out of other people’s money, and his family isn’t about to sell the Kennebunkport Estate for this effort.

I don't believe it, primarily because he just got done smiling that sissy boy smile standing 3 feet taller than Linda shorty Graham while Linda was endorsing him.

I stopped because I got tired of hearing the static from the wife when I got home drunk and having ‘unusual’ smells and smears on my shirts! ROFL

If this is true... Rubio is their man.

I'm pretty sure it's been true since before Thanksgiving. Jeb just had enough campaign dollars to keep from drowning, so he's stayed in the race.

He hasn't had any real donations since The Family called in some favors recently. The few bucks he got were only reluctantly given as return favors to 41 and 43. Now that that's over, the donors will all shut their doors to him.

The guy was a loser before he even ran. All those who poured bucks into his campaign, are the worst sort of double-dealing globalist thugs, who are all looking for a spot at the feeding trough. They all thought Bush would fill their bellies if they could get him into the White House. Bunch of sell-out traitors.

So yeah, Rubio's their new boy. He's all too eager to sell America to the highest bidder.

If true, one suspects that Rubio will pick up the donors and support (such as it is) that Bush currently enjoys. If Christie follows suit in the near future, Rubio will probably pick them up, as well. He’ll almost surely become the default favorite for the establishment bloc in the GOP.

At this point, how can he possibly believe that the mad-as-hell Republican base is going to stop and think, "Hey, we should give serious thought to another Bush as the nominee!"

Jeb Bush was a fool to believe he had any sort of chance, to begin with. Watching him is a study in just how far out of touch the elite class is with ordinary Americans. Someone named Bush has been President for 12 of the last 28 years. What on earth possessed this man to believe that the American public would be willing to give yet another member of that family the presidency again?

Whatever happened to deploying an 'exploratory committee' before choosing to run? If he did, why didn't they conduct surveys of the voting public to gauge what support there'd be for a Bush run in this primary? Did they simply assume that, because he's a Bush, that he'd be an automatic shoe-in? I guess they did, but boy, did that bit of assumption backfire spectacularly.

I'll tell you what - even if Trump weren't in the race, I don't think Jeb would have done all that well. I think Cruz and Rubio would be beating him anyway, at this point. Trump just knocked Jeb down to size a lot faster. Po' boy hit the canvas, and has never gotten back up.

I think if you look closely into Jeb's eyes, the answer is there. That boy ain't right.
