You know, I love the idea of Texas and love certain parts of the state, but Dallas doesn’t do a thing for me. I know, it has a dynamic, growing economy, etc. but for whatever reason, it’s not one of my favorite cities. If I were to live in TX it would probably be in the Hill Country.
In 2015 I moved back to Texas from Southern California and chose Dallas. I’m glad I found a nice part, Garland, but am happy with all of DFW. I work in a less than perfect area, but you’ll find that any place.
