My understanding is that caucus goers are voters who freely attend caucuses. At least that is what happened in Colorado when I ran a caucus.

So if these voters freely attending caucuses decide to freely vote for Trump even if they weren't specifically told to do so or publicly announced ahead of time that they were going to do so then that would be OK.

Trump could have absolutely zero 'ground game' and still come away with a win.

What you are saying could happen and basically would have to happen for Trump to win.
The dude running his state campaign ran the Santorum campaign to a caucus win in
2012. So I guess he knows the ropes although he wore out his pick up truck going to each
county for Santorum whereas Trump is wearing out his jet just flying over the counties.
