But fast forward, and he’s a dominant factor in conversations about which candidates, at the moment, seem most likely to snatch the GOP nomination.

Rivals now say that Cruz seems to increasingly have a strong shot at being the Republican nominee to run in the 2016 general election, according to Politico.....

There are only two sets of candidates Trump has not attacked: (1) Cruz and (2) the obscure losers. I think (hope?) that says something about Trump’s preferences if he’s not the next president.

Here’s a thought (my thought off the top of my head and I’ll probably end up thinking it should have been left there);

Let’s say the nomination comes down to being between Cruz and Trump. Will the establishment suddenly start looking at Cruz as being the “lesser of the two evils”?

Its already happening here at Fr, i’m going dark on the subject cause i know who i want, i do not want to be pulled into the mud pit loyalty brawl about to erupt.

But as a parting shot i will say this, Cruz would do best to admit he would be better in a supportive role than being out front.

Actually, Trump needs to admit that with his lack of full understanding of the constitution (tutelage he would get from Cruz as VP) that he is not ready for Prime Time just yet.

VP is the perfect position for trump right now.

I fear many would take Hillary Clinton as their lesser evil.

Do you really think Trump would accept the number 2 position? Trump prides himself as a Winner, not a second rate loser.

Trump is a billionaire and takes no orders from anyone. Go to TRUMP.COM and ask yourself if Trump would ever relinquish control of his ego.

LOL! - what a contradiction between "going dark" and "parting shot"!

One would hope that the inner conflict doesn't keep you from supporting "who you want" and even FR for that matter. At least that would indicate that you have some real ideals and not just a wish list written on a scrap of paper.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
