Congressman Seth Moulton, D-MA, has added his voice to the 2016 presidential race, endorsing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"Everyone in the race has strengths and weaknesses, and I don't agree with any of them on every issue," Moulton wrote in a letter to supporters Sunday. "But none of those differences are big enough or deep enough to risk losing the presidency to the likes of Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.
"It comes down to this: who will fight hardest for working people, defend and expand the middle class, and protect our freedoms?" Moulton wrote. "The answer, for me, is Hillary Clinton."
Moulton cited a list of what he called "important progress" under President Barack Obama's administration and emphasized to his supporters the importance of keeping the white house with the Democratic party in next year's election. His letter does not mention Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-VT, Clinton's chief rival in the bid for the Democratic nomination.
"We are making progress modernizing and reforming the VA. We are driving the conversation about strategy and diplomacy in the Middle East, rather than just calling for more troops on the ground," Moulton continued. "And, we are fighting for the values that Bay Staters care about most: raising wages for hardworking families, increasing access to affordable and quality healthcare, securing LGBT equality, and expanding opportunities for national service."
The endorsement adds to what seems like a good few weeks for Clinton's campaign -- well-received debate performance, completion of an 11-hour Beghazi hearing and a rise in polls -- and after a summer of email controversies and plumetting poll numbers.
Moulton focused his endorsement on foreign policy and veterans' affairs, saying that Clinton is the candidate who can continue making improvements in those areas.
"As secretary of state, she pioneered a 'smart power' approach to foreign policy. That means using every element of American power -- our economy, our values, and our military -- to keep our country safe," Moulton continued. "As New York's senator, Hillary worked with Republicans and Democrats to reform the VA and expand access to mental health care for our veterans. And, she’s a champion for women and children. That's why I am endorsing Hillary Clinton for President of the United States."
Moulton was elected to represent Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District in 2014 after defeating incumbent Congressman John Tierney in the Democratic primary and then Republican Richard Tisei in the general election.
It sounds like Mrs. Moulton’s little Seth has found out early about Clinton’s “Test Tickle Lockbox”.

The easy answer to this is that this is typical Massachusetts liberal BS. True enough.
But you know what? Obama didn’t get into the White House because he won Massachusetts. There are large populations of people in every state including places as unlikely even as Texas, who voted and supported the piece of crap, and those same people, and more, will support an obviously, lying, despicable, corrupt, and evil candidate such as Hillary Clinton.
The real problem isn’t Massachusetts politics, though that is predictable and bad enough.
The real problem is that we have reached a tipping point.
The “tipping point” is where there are more people taking handouts and other benefits from the government than there are putting money into it. Once that point has been reached, people will vote for who is giving the handouts, and they are going to outnumber the people who are earning the money.
The liberals now have what they have been striving for all these years (and it isn’t an accident): a permanent and reliable class of voters who will vote for whoever gives them “stuff”. Due to the policies of the current administration, we have passed that “tipping point” far faster than anyone had foreseen we would.

The issue we have at hand is the people in every single state who think the same way as the moonbat in this article. And there are plenty of them.
I understand. But, it is personal to me as I just retired in April after 5 1/2 years of commuting from southern New Hampshire into Mass on a daily basis.
There is something really “special” about the Massholes.
I live in Massachusetts, not strictly a native, but I regard myself as such after living there for so long. (My father retired from the USN and moved up to MA back in the Seventies)
I detest the politics there, it turns my stomach and raises my blood pressure on a daily basis. But what I have come to understand is that liberalism is like a cancer, and it is spreading, and like a cancer, a state line neither defines it nor stops it.
I have long thought liberalism is the greatest threat to this Republic, bar none.
