Ben Carson implosion isn't good news for Republican elites. It's good news for Trump.

That is my first sentence in Post #1.

1st Sentence: “Carson is unlikely to drop out, based on the West Point story.”

Cruz, Trump, Carson or no Presidential vote by me.

I’ve been betrayed and backstabbed by the GOPe for too many decades.

[I am shocked Media has not found headline stories disparaging Trump, yet!]

Haven’t they been doing that 24/7 since June?

1996 Death Panels and Seizure of Insurance Company Profits In an article published in the Harvard Journal of Minority Public Health, [Vol 2 (1), 1996. Carson BS, Washington H: Health Care Reform -- A Paradigm Shift], Carson advocates for death panels, and the forced seizure of profits by the government from insurance companies.

Excerpts from Health Care Reform-A Paradigm Shift:

The most natural question is, who will pay for catastrophic health care? The answer: The government-run catastrophic health care fund. Such a fund would be supported by a mandatory contribution of 10 to 15 percent of the profits of each health insurance company, including managed care operations[...]

As our general population continues to age and as our technical abilities continue to improve we will find ourselves in a position of being able to keep most people alive...well beyond their 100th birthday. The question is "Should we do it simply because we can? It is well known that up to half of the medical expenses incurred in the average American's life are incurred during the last six months of life....rather than putting them in an intensive care unit, poking and prodding them, operating and testing them ad nauseam, why not allow them the dignity of dying in comfort, at home, with an attendant if necessary?...Decisions on who should be treated and who should not be treated would clearly require some national guidelines." Correct, but some of his supporters (even here) are stone cold isolationists who will find themselves sorely disappointed should he become president.

Maybe....Maybe not.

Think that most (including me) think he’s worth the risk considering the other options (excluding Sen. Cruz) available.

“They will do anything to bring him down...just like they did Herman Cain.”

Herman Cain brought himself down by lying about putting the make on women against their will and having a longtime Mistress who went on TV to out him, and had a paper trail, receipts, and many emails from Herman to back up her affair with him, a married man.

Carson will also bring himself down, as he is lying, as proven by his own autobiography statements about West Point and his own statements on his Facebook page recently (Aug, 2015), and statements by Westmoreland’s widow, and by the Army throwing more doubt on Carson’s West Point scholarship offer story.

Trump people are out on tv bashing Carson on the West Point story. It’s going to backfire!

“They have one mission, total destruction of non-left wing people.”

They can’t bring down Trump, can they..

The truth doesn’t backfire, as you will find out. There’s more to come on Carson.

Yeah.. I got that. Polls don’t mean shxt and I could care less. They’re a lot like statistics, find the ones you want and run with it.

There is no Carson implosion, there’s a liberal media take down of anyone they don’t approve of. That’s a given and I don’t give shxt about either.

What if’s are hypothetical.. My point was we need someone who’ll take charge and clean house and with any luck forcefully and extreme prejudice comes to mind.

Who ever emerges, I want a true leader not another POS wannabe. I want someone forceful and someone who will preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States... TO THE LETTER OF THE LAW.

Carson is a good man and everyone makes mistakes i.e. shxt happens. Doesn’t mean he’d make a good President, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t. Trump on the other hand will do what he needs to be in the spotlight and his past is questionable at best. He’s been what he needs to be to benefit no one but himself.

“Carson is unlikely to drop out, based on the West Point story. General Westmoreland has passed.

However backing TPP, and against deportation of illegals are more serious IMO.”

Right, the West Point story is a not starter. However the other issues you listed will cause him some problems.

And maybe the attacks by Trump on Carson this week will send Carson supporters in another direction. I think a lot of them liked Carson because he was civil.

I posted this to the other thread linked above, describing the appointment process to West Point, from my experience as a parent who went through it with my son, who graduated from USMA.

Carson is not my choice at present, but this attack on him is nonsense. Most HS guidance counselors describe the military academies as offering a full scholarship to those who ask about them.

Carson would be best as a stealth candidate!

Ben Carson 2016

Y'know, it kinda works! Even looks a little like him. :-)

Yes, this is tiny potatoes. It’s silly to think this is going to hurt Trump by redirecting it toward him, but the wishful anti-Trumper sure want it to happen.

You keep repeating that lie on every thread, Cruz voted to fast track TPA, not TPP. He is going to evaluate the bill on TPP and make his decision - TPP has not been voted on yet.

I don’t see it. I read Politicos edit and they didn’t seem to retract a damn thing. They just phrased the accusation with a little more care.
