Why do you think Fox broadcast of GOP debate scored the highest ratings EVER for cable news, with 24 million+ viewers? Why do you think similar debate in 2011 scored 1/6th ratings compared to this years?
In case you still can't figure out why the media is giving Trump so much face time.....IT IS RATINGS! The TV media makes it's living based on ratings, not love or hate of candidates.
Ratings of course. The same reason they caved when Trump threatened to pull out of the next debate. They can sell ads for 20 times as much with him in as out.
