I’m pretty sure this has been the plan since the announcement in January. Putting my feelings about Mittens aside (not a fan), it’s actually good strategy. Jeb was never going to be the nominee.
Liberal - cage. Assembly required. There is no fixing people that broken.
It will finally be the end of the Clinton political holocaust.
Until Chelsea runs.
The only reason it failed last time was Barry’s race/s. The ‘right’ played along willingly. they eliminated the more conservative candidates (everyone running) and handed Romney up for GOP blessing and “the system worked”. The GOP system.
Of course I think the GOP has proven they actually wanted Barry. They supported him totally every since after all.
He should stay in, I can’t wait for him to be relegated to the Kiddie table debate so Jindal can chew on him.
Naw.....let him suffer a few more months LOL.
Either Ricky Ricardo or Dondi. Peppermint Patty is the longshot.
“And this time there is no love for Hillary like for Barry so the left will stay home. thus Romney CAN win.”
I haven’t looked at the national polls regarding Hillary vs Bernie lately, but in this area of New Mexico there is absolutely zero indication that the libtards intend to stay home. Quite the contrary around here. The ONLY campaign signs and bumper stickers I am seeing are for the self professed commie. The old hippie types, *solid* democrats, and ignorant young people are rallying around Bernie. It was very difficult for me to get my head around the fact that people would vote for Barry a second time, but it is excruciatingly painful for me to try to grasp how otherwise seemingly decent people can be getting very excited at the prospect of a bona fide commie as the leader of this country. Yeah, I know, there is absolutely NO logic in a libtard’s head, but after eight years of Barry they want to go further left???? The guy just keeps telling them what they want to hear, and it mainly revolves around the occutard disease. So... If Romney is the nominee and gets elected, it won’t be because the libtards stayed home, it will be entirely because of the “at least he isn’t a democrat” voters. IMHO
“Not with $100 million he wont. Hes hoping to outlast everybody else.”
If that $100M is PAC money, he can spend it after dropping out, right?
So long, Jeb.
Point taken but the whole state is practically the Rez. Or reliant on it. they vote dem more reliably than Blacks.
I have always said he needs a speech coach for politics. A different approach than a court room demeanor. His body language, facial expressions and voice could use some work.
His thought process and brain are brilliant though.
Could the GOP road map be getting a little bumpy? I doubt it, but it sure sounds good........
Based on his polling, Bush was never a SERIOUS CANDIDATE.
Sounds like he did this on a lark, just to blow off some steam or something. Well, it’s OVER now - he needs to get out of the way and let the ADULTS (like Trump, Carson, and Cruz) battle things out.
We’re talking about a PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. This is SERIOUS STUFF and while we’ve all been amused by Bush, it’s time to end the childish antics and let the party decide on a nominee for next year.
He should do the right thing and return the money to the donors.
I'M THE SMRT BUSH
He has four choices:He's already tried #2, mainly because, regardless of the crap-flinging against Trump that has gone on, even on FR, Bush makes Trump look like Blackjack Pershing. He's stated #1, that he's in it for the duration. His option is likely to be #4. Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
- He can stay in, hell or high water, relying on the money he'd already raised
- He can try to enhance his fundraising by staking out more clear-cut positions, IOW, come out against Trump on each issue, e.g., state that in the wake of Oregon's shootings, we need gun control
- He can try to enhance his fundraising by staking out more clear-cut positions, IOW, agree with Trump on each issue, but make confusing distinctions without differences
- He can drop out, realizing that his own first political campaign (as well as his brother George's) ended in failure.
“I wish Cruz had a more manly voice.”
I know. That’s Cruz’s biggest problem as a candidate, that high, nasaly, squeaky voice.
“candidates must reach an average of 3% in a set list of national polls taken between Sept. 17 and Oct. 21.”
Even if Yeb does make it, he could end up at the end of the line occupying either the Christie or Kascich anchor spots. Now wouldn’t THAT be a hoot!
That many? WTG Jeb.
