The Republican primary voters are people who are profoundly indifferent to demographics. We believe in the rule of law, which is why we oppose illegal immigration. But we also believe all government actions should be race-blind, which is why we oppose government-mandated affirmative action. We are the people whom MLK was talking about in his “I have a dream,” speech, and the democrats are still the ones fighting against that dream.

The American dream is dead, in the emphatic words of Mr. Trump.
Trump hasn’t declared it dead.
If it’s moribund it’s only because democrats have tried their best to kill it.
If anyone is in a panic it’s the liberal leadership, because
between Obama and Hillary all trust in the democrats as
a solution to our problems has been destroyed.
Cruz 2016.

Bush was a huge globalist.
Liberals are huge globalists.
The GOP are huge globalists.

So what does Pete Wehner suggest we do?
Simply surrender our country without a care at all?

I agree. what a laugh... Trump is the only one representing the American people.

In fact, Trump would likely tout Wehner's argument as evidence that the Washington party establishment is a failed, clueless lot. And Trump would be right, Chris, ol' buddy, ol' pal.

The message being sent to voters [by Trump] is this: The Republican Party is led by people who are profoundly uncomfortable with the changing (and inevitable) demographic nature of our nation. Right, that's why Trump is got 31% of Hispanics and 25% of blacks in a recent general election matchup vs. Hillary. How many did Romney get? McCain?

Wehner is a Bushbot. Anyone that has any connection to that family isn't anyone that I'm interested in hearing from.

The Republican Party holds more elected offices in this country than at any time in its’ history. It holds a vast majority of state legislatures and Governor Mansions and has a deep bench of highly qualified young Office Holders to draw from.
It is the Democrat Party that can not field a candidate under retirement age.

He is named Peter Wehner? Isn’t that awfully redundant of his pregnant mom?
We are the People of the United States who love our country, I.e. Our Constitution. It is the only thing that makes us the US of A. We are not any one party.
The Republicans are the half of the oligarchy on one side of the aisle, clinging to any money and power the status quo system gives them.
This Peter Weiner thinks we, the People = Republicans, only caring about our Team. So he is a shmuck. Clearly.
