ear Republican presidential candidates not named Donald: Big night coming up, kids. Everyone studying? Memorizing your little quips and zingers? Working on your heartfelt-but-humanizing presentation? Ready for your moment in the Sun in the most beautiful of Presidential libraries? Making sure you know your Hamas from your Hezbollah?
Of course youre not. Youre all in an existential panic over Donald Freaking Trump and his singlehanded destruction of the field of some of best and most qualified candidates in the last twenty-five years. Send the debate coaches away. That 600 page issue book? Save it. Itll make a great doorstop. If youre still looking at any media interaction with Trump as standard politics, youre doing it wrong. You waited too long for that....

Time to declare open war on the GOPe and consultant class.
IIRC, this nasty little SOB is angry because Trump has stolen little Jebbie's path to the WH.
I did that last year.
The Cheap Labor Express
They are desperate to take down Trump.
They simply can’t have us electing anyone who would stop the invasion or enforce the laws on fraudulently documented foreigners.
Open letter to Rick Wilson: whichever candidate hires you will not get my vote. Scott Walker has been ruled out for hiring Brad Dayspring.
I think he works for JEB but he looks like a homeless hobo.
“Time to declare open war on the GOPe and consultant class.”
Plus any faux republican elite living in the beltway or NYC trying to tell us how dumb and idiotic we are for supporting a man who is proud to be an American.
The opening lines work better if you imagine them said by the TMZ voice over guy.
Any GOP candidate that takes advice from the people at Politico deserves to lose.
[field of some of best and most qualified candidates in the last twenty-five years]
I only saw one that is most qualified - TED CRUZ.
Been there done that. Just glad to see Trump taking them on!
Me too. The GOPe needs to be removed from power and replaced by conservatives.
That’s the one he doesn’t mean. I’m guessing he’s referring to John Ellis, Chris, Marco and John from Ohio.
Friday night on CNN, top GOP consultant Rick Wilson attacked 25% of Republican primary voters as low information voters. Saturday morning, Breitbart News reported this fact and argued that attacking our own voters as stupid might not be the key to victory. Monday, quite incredibly, Rick Wilson used a threat of rape against his own daughter as a political talking point to attack Breitbart News:
Adam Baldwin asked Wilson the key question had he gone to law enforcement, and was he or was he not advised to refrain from publicizing the threat on social media:
@TheRickWilson Echoing Brianna Wu? If you reported to LE, did they not tell you to keep quiet online about such things? @NolteNC

@TheRickWilson Did LE not tell you to shut up about it online? @EWErickson @NolteNC @brandondarby @Cernovich

In all the years Ive been on social media, I have never seen anyone not even the lowest Leftist use a threat of rape against their own child as a political talking point or debating point against a political opponent.
Over the years Ive received too many threats of this kind to count. In my social media world, they are the norm, not the exception. Nevertheless, the thought of blaming anyone but the scumbag making the threat is something that never crossed my mind.
The thought of using a threat, specifically a threat of rape against my own child, to score political points is so far beyond my moral comprehension, there are no words.
If someone threatened my child with rape, I wouldnt run to social media to politicize it, Id call the police.
UPDATE: Wilson took to Twitter later to rescind his accusation that Breitbart News was responsible:
Even after Wilson took it back, after I pushed back against him describing Breitbart News as a clown site, The Weekly Standards John Podhoretz went ahead and leveled the rape charge:
I disagree with just about everything Mr. Wilson wrote. But I'll give him praise for humor...it is funny.
The funny thing is Trump has risen in the poll for a reason... but these people will not look an that reason...then do not dare look at that reason.. they fear that reason... so the they attack the Trump persona
That why the have been ineffective in taking him down
WOW!! Rick Wilson, whoever your are. You mad Bro??
Look, I want Cruz, badly. But the Establishment goons are really losing their minds. I could vote for TRUMP now.
Interesting tidbit here:
Here’s what I would like to see happen tonight. One of the CNN hotshots asks Trump if he cussed out his first doorman when he fired him in 1991.
Trump refuses to answer and lets the major issues they should be spending time on. He says he will walk out if they asks mother such question.
Ten minutes later they ask Trump if his wife posed nude. He tells the audience the ballroom is open at Trump Tower with fee food and beverage. 1,000 will be let into the building. In 90 minutes he will talk to the audience with no questions from the media. The media may record if they choose to come. But it will be streamed for free.
2/3rds of the audience walks out and the next debate is just the top 5 candidates sitting around talking and taking questions from the internet.
