Possibly the Carson numbers are actually being elevated by the truly “undecided”.
Carson is harmless and is Dr. Nice, at a time when people need to be soothed, perhaps to sleep, and also it is still early.
Maybe they are aghast at the boldness of Trump and suffer from general unease with anyone else being capable of actually winning against Trump, or any Democrat in the general election?
I really believe the Cruz vote is tied up in the Trump support for the time being, and are greatly relieved that Cruz has something going with Trump, just-in-case......
