The only obvious symbol missing from Trumps rambling rally last evening were Swastikas. They would have completed that vile spectacle perfectly.
I didn't want to register with the WaPoo to reply or I would have posted, "Maybe DemocRATS weren't admitted to the event."
My college aged daughter is a little lib. And she walked into my office last night with Trump on and commented, “Dad this is like the rise of Hitler you know. Just like Hitler followers you have no idea what the man stands for but you love the way he stands up for the white race.”
I told her, “I see you have been reading your looney tune websites. Get me a beer and then scoot.” My home is like a modern day All in the Family.
MSNBC had a pre-rally running comment about it’ll be lucky to get the stadium half-filled. While the folks are still coming in.
On the street, Olaf Childress, a neo-Confederate activist, gave out copies of “The First Freedom” newspaper, which had headlines about “Black-on-white crime,” “occupied media” and “censored details of the Holocaust.”
Any point to this paragraph being in the article? Other than making the implication that all republicans are racists?
That’s definitely the talking point. See my comment below yours. My daughter is a hippie robot who knows nothing about history (a biology major). And she’s now an expert on Hitler.

Her comments on Trump sound exactly like what Obama supporters thought of Obama in ‘08. People were fainting at his rallies and they thought that was great.

Out of the >20,000 crowd, they finally found one iffy character. And I don’t see what’s wrong with those headlines in the newspaper handout, which their own news organization was guilty as charged.

Ignore the Media. They are nothing more than the Psychological Warfare arms of the Neo-Marxist Left a.k.a. the Democrat Party and the Chamber Of Amnesty & Cheap Labor a.k.a.the GOPe.
Trump has the skills and backbone to turn the corrupt Media’s fire back at them. The American people must do the same. Job Number One must be to hang tough and ignore and/or ridicule the Media at every opportunity.

I sense that too. That is the real reason Donald Trump is received so well. He is, like in ancient times, a champion coming forth from the people to do battle for what is good and right. Like David facing Goliath, like Charles Martel rallying the French against the Moslem invasion, like George Washington leaving his wife and farm for eight years of war, like Winston Churchill called to leadership after the debacle of Dunkirk. In times of trouble, the Spirit moves, a brave man - often a flawed man, too - steps up and leads his people against the forces of darkness and evil, onto victory, glorious victory.
I haven’t seen a turnstile count or anything from Trump campaign.
Just the 35,000 reported by WaPo above, and 30,000 on CNN a half hour ago.
The WaPo report above of half the stadium was probably the first draft of the article.
Then later when in rewrite they knew it was more and reported 35,000, but didn’t get the earlier “half” fixed.
I know MSNBC was hoping the event would be a bust, but looks like WaPo tried to get it right.
I HOPE we do not lose Texas. Because that will be the death of America.
I am hopeful, however, that Texans—like the South in general—show the rest of the Country that we can still be a great nation. The Texan economy has been what has kept Obama’s Depression from becoming even worse. Most of the Country’s job creation is due to Texan industry and the Texan economy.
Still, people tend to kill the goose to get the golden eggs out faster, so we’ll see.
That’s why this election is so important, and Trump is speaking out to rally us when we really NEED to rally and defeat what America will become if we do not fight back.
I think Benjamin Netanyahu is also an example of this for his country. That's why they hate him so much - he's a strong man and a hero for Israel.
I will give your daughter one point. Hitler rose from the destructive aftermath of World War 1. The United States is suffering the destruction caused by Obama and his minions. One big difference is that World War 1 last only 4 years.
I think Hitler and Obama are more like-minded than any GOP candidate.
Hitler was for massive government control in every aspect of life. His government schools purpose was for him to expand his power. Gun ownership was outlawed. Any opposition was destroyed using the tools of government. If government tools were not enough, thugs would handle things. Yes, it sounds a lot like the last 8 years of Obama.
Hitler was not right wing. He is as left wing as you can get.
