Bush has two constituencies:
1) GOP domos (a small number of votes, lot of $$$)
2) Democrat Op Chaos supporters in open primaries (potentially large number of votes)

One of my working hypotheses this year is the possibility that partisan polarization has made a hash of traditional electability arguments for this or that moderate presidential candidate for the simple reason that swing voters are harder to find and harder to sway than in the past. I think the opposite is true. Fewer voters have the kind of party loyalty they used to. There are now more registered independents than Pubs or Dems. People are disgusted with both parties. Trump has appeal to independents and even Democrats who would never vote for a GOPe guy because he clearly isn't part of the party establishment.

Bush stands about a zero chance of winning the General I don’t care who, or what, the Dms run. I just hope his lack of winning the General translates to his not winning the Nom. We are still VERY early.
