DETROIT - Attorney General Bill Schuette is among the Michiganders who are endorsing Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush.
In a statement Wednesday, Bush listed a handful of state leaders whom he said would help bring his "message of opportunity and renewal to every corner of the state."
"I am happy to have the support of so many of Michigans great leaders and look forward to growing the team. Michigan is a key state and I will work hard to earn the support of every voter," Bush said.
Bush is scheduled to visit Michigan for the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference on Sept. 18.
"We have many talented candidates seeking the presidency, but as a successful governor, Jeb Bush is the most qualified candidate to win the November election and will serve with distinction and courage," Schuette said.

Well stop the presses!
At least Jeb is helping us to identify all the RINOs.
There’s all kinds of flavors of candidates. Each has his or her own strengths and weaknesses. What I still don’t understand of the Jeb supporters, if they’re not motivated by a desire to suck up to the establishment, is “Why?” Honestly, I think only an utter lack of imagination would draw one to this joker.
Hordes of RINO’s trying to get me to vote for their favorite ringneck. No thanks.
Schuette is an idiot!
Did you go to school with him too?
Herbert H. Dow Senior High School (1970-1972)
No, but I have been in Michigan since the 70’s and any time I have seen him on the news or hear any of his campaign bs you can see what an idiot he is.
I thought Schuette was a Conservative ?
Looks like my Congressman (Trott) is on that list. It’s a shame he successfully primaried a real conservative like Kerry Bentivolio.
Hangs head in shame. Idiots.
LOSERS! Losers All! L. Brooks Patterson was old when I lived in MI in 1977. He must be 150 now.
