The Coosa County Republican Party will play host a conference call with presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21.
Alabama Republican Party Chairman Terry Lathan will place the call from the Coosa County E-911 Conference Center at 60 Communications Dr. in Rockford.
This event is part of the Calling Alabama program by the Alabama Republican Party that provides opportunities each month for participants to hear live conversations with presidential candidates.
The Coosa County Republican Party is only the second group to hold one of these events live from its meeting. Tallapoosa County played host to a call with Dr. Ben Carson last month.
The telephone conference will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by comments from Lathan with question-and-answer time. This event is open to the public.
Attendees should arrive by 5:30 p.m. to be seated prior to the beginning of the telephone call.
Parking is available in a lot on Highway 22 West next to the county jail, and shuttle service will be provided to the entrance. Refreshments will be provided.

I could have met some of my old friends that have Confederate Flags in their life still......Being an old “MAINEiac “Swamp Yankee” I wouldn't have to bring a gun on the plane....They would have issued me one on my arrival.....GOD Bless 'em!!
