This could be a brilliant strategy by Cruz... get behind Trump as Trump soars. Then, when the egomaniac finally deflates, an inoculated Cruz takes the mantle and gets the nomination.
Or, Cruz is playing second-fiddle to Trump and never gets the lift needed to break off the pack as Trump, somehow, keeps on ticking.
I am hoping for the former.

People feel comfortable calling trump a loser or a buffoon. He has a lot of personality and he’s confidence personified. Underestimating him is just silly
