It IS a great picture. I don’t know how true this is, but, I’ve heard that usually the taller candidate in a presidential race wins. I’m not referring to the primaries. I remember what a sawed off munchkin McCain looked like on that debate stage against zero. Then, when the debate was over -he got confused and didn’t know which way to go. Senile, old fool.
:raises eyebrows: It’s not -that- big a deal. Other FRiends thought he might have borrowed the jacket. That would make sense.
FWIW - I don’t see a Cruz/Trump ticket or Trump/Cruz ticketTrump’s ego and $$ would never let him settle for 2nd place and Cruz would be wasted as VP. The President, above all, needs to be a leader. It is what we’ve severely missed the past 6+ yrs...perhaps since Reagan. Someone who can go toe to toe with Putin, China, Iran, Congress, whomever ticks the Pres off. Trump has the chutzpah, the moxie, the stones to tell every one else to P_ss off. The President also needs to be the country’s biggest cheerleader; “Make America Great Again!” Cruz is a very, very smart guy, probably the brightest guy in DC, but he’s not a leader. Great orator, great legal mind, great Constitutional mind, but not a leader. For all this talk about everyone being afraid of him, it hasn’t panned out and Green Eggs and Ham just isn’t going to cut it. Not now in this day and age. He’ll put everyone to sleep during a State of the Union Speech. For AG, yes, for SCOTUS, hell yeah! There he can wax eloquently on the law and write stunning conservative opinions as I’m sure he can....but Putin isn’t afraid of Cruz....he would be afraid of an unhinged Trump who is beholden to nobody. Just look at the picture....he looks like he’s wearing his dad’s suit jacket and doesn’t want to be there...it’s just not him. Now, the question is, will Trump stay in for the long haul and can he survive the inevitable GOPe attacks?
I’m pulling for Cruz. For among other things, how can you not love a guy who looks like the young John Wayne?
It costs $20 to have sleeves cut to the proper length.
I agree, Cruz’s jacket is far too large. Maybe he borrowed one from Trump for the photo? Did Cruz show up in a polo shirt? ;o)
I was trying to be funny. Which obviously failed!
And yes, Kohl’s has very good suits on clearance for under $100. Just have to take your time to find one that fits. It is hit and miss on the clearance rack.
Cruz is only in his mid-40’s. He would still be very young after 4 or even 8 years of Trump, who will be 70 next year.
IMHO, Mr. Trump would NEVER accept VP.
And how does that change his personality? Giving him more time to mature and grow into a leader? Perhaps.

Ted has been kicking ass and taking names.
Ted matches rhetoric with action.
Like being for Obama’s trade bill before he was against it or some other mental gymnastics? Who’s ass has he been kicking and who’s names has he been taking? Please tell me...
Not sure about the jacket problem. It looks like he’s wearing the exact same thing he’d just worn on one of the morning news shows. Maybe he spilled something on his and did have to borrow one from Trump.
Look at the reality...Cruz is a 1st term senator, has not had much success getting any major bills passed, yet. If he serves 4-8 years as VP, voters in the whole country will get to know the real Ted Cruz. Then he will have a real shot running for president and winning.
Trump is not afraid of attacks by media, as he has already shown us. But he could drop out if the elites in GOP keep attacking him. Perry, Pataki, Fiorina, Bush, Rubio, & Manchurian candidate McCain have already attacked him for speaking the truth about illegals, Obamacare, Iran deal, foreign trade etc.
If GOPe is wise, they will ignore Trump, and let him lose graciously in the primary races. If they make him mad, he has the wherewithal to run as 3rd party. I am more convinced than ever, GOPe does not give a hoot if they lose to Hillary in November. They would rather nominate Bush and lose than nominate Trump and win, because he can not be restrained and molded to their mode of operation.
There is probably a funny story behind that Jacket, Cruz will no doubt tell it at some point, the guy is everywhere, it is a marvel at how he gets around, he is working very hard and he is working his money very hard, be assured your donation is being used most effectively, Cruz is a good steward of other peoples money as evidenced by the results.
Yes. Keep bringing up Walker’s dirty campaign official Brad Dayspring as often as possible. We didn’t pay attention to swines such as Karl Rove in past elections. They wield great influence.
Ted needed that sleeve length to fully cover his Winston Churchill tattoo.
