Conservative Revolt Brewing Against Scott Walker Over Staffer Hired By His PAC (Brad Dayspring)
Right Wing News ^ | July 8, 2015 | John Hawkins

Last week, Right Wing News did an article about Scott Walker’s PAC hiring Brad Dayspring. If you don’t know who Brad Dayspring is, here’s an introduction from one of the conservative candidates he slimed during the GOP primaries.

“Brad Dayspring is well known as a despicable establishment operative who specializes in slander and character assassination against conservative candidates,” Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel—one such conservative Dayspring personally frequently attacked—told Breitbart News exclusively on Wednesday. “He is the perfect example of why conservatives no longer trust the GOP. He’s little more than a paid attack dog, without principle and honor, the personification of everything wrong with our present political system.”

McDaniel added:

“Scott Walker appears to be a good man with solid conservative instincts. But his hiring of the unstable Dayspring is an insult to honorable political discourse. If Dayspring is aligned with Walker, then conservatives should be warned to look elsewhere for leadership.”

Right Wing News has contacts with Scott Walker’s campaign and with his PAC. We reached out to both and asked for them to go on the record about Brad Dayspring. Unfortunately, nobody was willing to go on the record defending him — which should tell you a lot....

Walker is not my choice, no horse in the race.

If I am correct, this is twice Walker has hired two vicious GOPe hacks.

You are who you surround yourself with.

I’m guessing that Walker is counting on Dayspring’s track record (Cochran and Roberts both won) and that the public will not pay any attention to who he hires to run his campaign

Then go ahead and hire Karl Rove as campaign manager then. In for a penny, in for a pound.

Winning 2DV. No matter what. Principle is bad. Evil is fine as long as we win. An abortion funding gay legislating Republican candidate was perfectly in keeping with the WINNING! philosophy.

Wait am I on FR or DU? I forgot to check...

It says “volumes” about a guy who would employ a partisan hack that attacks the Republican opposition rather than the Democrat-chek contenders.

Walker is not supposed to have any contact or communication with his PAC - otherwise, contributing to it would be an illegal campaign contribution (wink, wink).

Fewer than 10 comments on one of the most conservative sites? These revolutionaries better step it up.

Or pick something more impactful than who a PAC hires.

Any mother will tell you that you are who you associate with. And the Presidency is somewhat more important to have good people around than hanging out on the corner.

If someones judgement is so bad about shoring up conservative votes that he hires a known conservative hater/attack dog, I don’t think questioning that requires a left wing smear machine. I think anyone would be massively clueless to let that sort of crap slide if they expect conservatism from the candidate.

Scott Walker signed up with a piss poor class of characters.

Rubio, Walker, Bush, Perry, and a few others are just hired hands.

I fear they have lured Cruz into the mix.

How many campaign manager’s does a campaign need? I doubt that Karl Rove would sign up to be any candidate’s campaign manager. That requires real work.

RINO tendencies run strong in the political consultant class.

Those were two malignant campaigns that conservatives simply cannot look past. I was just on the edge of sending Walker some $ but when this turned up my checkbook snapped shut fast. He'll get none from me until Dayspring is gone.

Walker is now and has been a nothing burger. The GOPe or some RINO group has pushed his fantasy image in the polls. IMO Walker has peaked and is on the way down. I think Trump thinks so too as he has left Walker alone so far. Smart move as the guy will fail on his own.

Including Rush Limbaugh, I'm afraid.
