I think he’s limiting his exposure to avoid burnout with the public until the final stretch of the race. I could be wrong but some candidates are getting lots of press which invites lots of flak and exposes weaknesses. I think Cruz is just playing it smart.

> Yes they are .. because Ted has more money than Hillary.

You mean legal and lawfully obtained funds not ill-gotten gains right?. There is a huge distinction.

Money buys PR buys votes. His support is very soft. As the number of candidates drops, his percents won’t rise at all.

Ted is the only one who is solid across the wide spectrum of conservative issues. Not perfect, but awfully close. And you know he isn’t going to go off reservation like Trump eventually will, a busload of naive going screaming over a cliff.

Which isn’t to say I don’t like Trump, or Walker, or even Jindal and sometimes Fiorina. But Ted is awfully damn solid.

I'm for Ted Cruz BECAUSE I believe what he says, and believe when he says why he did what he did,

versus:

“though he did reverse himself “I voted for it before I voted against it.”

and

“he switched positions and I was relieved”

Please, somebody explain to me why ANYONE would vote for somebody when they don't believe in what he says, or believe him when he says why he did what he did? Ted said what he did, why he did it, not reversing or switching, and that works for me.

Things move much faster these days. If the 'net and 500 TV channels had existed in Reagan's day, it might not have taken him three tries.

$51 million in small individual donations says he’s already there.

I’m for Cruz, and have shown my support by donating to his campaign.

Anyone else?

If you’re for Cruz, put your money where your mouth is.

I almost donated to his campaign, but they didn’t accept PayPal. That’s the only way I spend money online. Anyone know why it’s not an option?

Let’s play this out. IMHO Walker wins Iowa. 4-5 candidates are in a close pack for 2nd. Hopefully Cruz does well. Jeb gets crushed. Jeb is shocked when he doesn’t win NH. Maybe Walker, Rubio, and a long shot-Carson, Paul, or Trump take Gold, Silver, and Bronze in NH. South Carolina gives Walker, Cruz and Rubio a little more of a lead. It gets rid of a ton of candidates-Christie, Jindal, Perry, Huckabee, Pataki, etc...are done. I think after South Carolina it will be down to Walker in first, Rubio and Cruz in 2nd or 3rd, and Jeb in 4th because he has money to last. Trump may keep going for his ego. I think Walker wins and he looks for a VP like Rubio to carry Florida and help mitigate Hispanic vote (imagine flipping Wisconsin and Florida) or Kasich to solidify Ohio. Maybe it’s Walker Sandoval making Midwest and Southwest with a bunch of little flips like Nevada and New Mexico. I think it’s Walker/Rubio myself. Maybe Cruz goes to SCOTUS which would be awesome and he can do more good for a lot longer.especially if he takes Ginsburg’s spot. Just my thoughts to get a conversation going.

Walker lost the evangelical vote when it was made public his wife supports homosexual marriage. He’s toast.

You are the most realistic one on FR. I think you are 100 percent right on how this plays out. And yes Cruz on Supreme Court would be incredible.....he could be there 50 years. He is better equipped for that then President anyway.

Read post 32. That information is a game changer. Walker will be discounted by Tradition Family proponents.

If he doesn’t, it just proves the average GOP Primary Voter is as dumb as a Box of Barbara Boxers.

That is the same thing the Tex GOPe said about Cruz in his Senate run. Cruz knows its now or never. Even 4 years of hitlery and America will be gone.

Probably so, but Walker is a fighter. Nobody has had it worse then Walker with regards to bullying by everyone. The voters thankfully like Walker as he won 3 elections in 4 years and one was a hated election and he still won. His results are so impressive that I can’t believe that 100 percent of FR doesn’t support him. They are supporting a talker over a doer. Doesn’t makes sense, but I never thought the Democrats made sense in 2008 either. You can never underestimate stupid voters that is for sure.

I am supporting Cruz and Walker. I believe these are the two best candidates who can win in 2016.
