Dont count Lindsey Graham among the Republican Presidential hopefuls who think that mass shooting in Charleston was about something other than race. He spoke out this weekend to address the murders, and his statement differs sharply from what some of his colleagues are saying.
Unlike Rick Santorum and Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham isnt pretending the murders were about religion or insisting that we cant tell yet what motivated the attack.
Instead, Graham openly recognizes that this attack was racially motivated and says that America has a long way to go in the racial relations department.
There can be no doubt that the shooting on Wednesday night was racially motivated and signals to all of us that the scars of our history are still with us today. Throughout our country, we still have much to do in the name of equality.
There is no doubt we have made great progress, but Charleston reminds us there is still much to do.
Graham also declares that the shooters attempt to start a race war has failed....

I knew he wouldn’t hold the line for long.
Lindsey Graham is a feckless, duplicitous, treacherous, double dealing, backstabbing corksucker.
I just wish that Linda, the Dauphin, Gomer, Krispy Kreme and Don would follow Charlie Crist’s example and join their real party.
Typical hack.
Yup. Those Chevy vs. Dodge vs. Ford things get tiresome after a while.
Yep, our pResident, the one, openly says in an interview this weekend, the word nigger, referring to us racists, yet, if I dare say that word or even type it here on FR, I may get suspended, or if I say it in public I better be carrying, oh that's OK, I am.
The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a Bowie knife.
Why in this case are so many saying this is a racist act, a hate crime and all that? But whenever Islam is involved, we can never say that it is an Islamic attack; we officially say we don’t know what motivated someone when that someone is Muslim??? Why is this???
When some black guy kills a family of whites, doesn't that remind us also, there is still much to do? How come we never hear that? And, black on white crime is underreported.
Of course, it does not support the MSM's narrative.
“Graham openly recognizes that this attack was racially motivated and says that America has a long way to go in the racial relations department.”
There are about 315 million people in the United States. These fools want to judge the entire 315 million people by the acts of one depraved murderous ghoul. These people do not have a very good opinion of 315 million Americans. I happen to think murder is worse than racism. Murder is always hatred. When is murder not ever been a crime of hate? This man should be executed for murder, not hate. Hate is an attitude; murder is an act.
True.
Example: The Knockout Game.
Leni
No, this racist kid has the problem... not all white people
what an arse-wipe
...and Linseed Graham.
What an Insult to Linseed Oil which is a valuable product...
Unlike Graham who has little to no actual "value"
There were 806,316 homicides in the US between 1965 and 2004, and 588,611 of them were committed by blacks, of which 179,808 were blacks who murdered Whites.
322,526 of these homicides were not cleared, and only 483,790 were cleared, and of those Whites murdered by blacks, 43,541 were cleared and 136,267 were not cleared.
In just four decades, American blacks killed almost as many Whites as were killed in WWII, four times as many Whites as were killed in Vietnam, and 60 times as many Whites as were killed in 911 or Iraq.
Blacks are KNOWN by the FBI to murder 24 Whites every week, officially. If blacks are not under-represented in the uncleared murders, they officially murder 48 Whites every week.
Perhaps he could set an example by leaving the senate and establishing his primary residence within a predominantly black community. Live where you can have a direct impact on race relations. lol
As the 2nd to last white family to move out of 170 St in Da Bronx, he is right. But thank god back in those days the racism launched at me only used fists.
