We have NEVER had a president without government experience. Not one.

How about President Eisenhower, unless you classify military service as government experience in the truest sense...............

Why does everyone forget President Grant? But of course Presidents Eisenhower and Grant had government experience. The Army is the sword and shield of the government. Without it the government would not exist. And being a flag officer, especially at the top (as Grant and Eisenhower were) is very political. I didn’t say “elective” experience, I said government experience.
