BEAUMONT - Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, denies that he has any animosity toward gay Americans when it comes to states using its own system of regulations to define marriage.
While at a fundraiser at the MCM Elegante Hotel in Beaumont on Tuesday, Cruz held tight to his ideas that links same sex marriage to a fight over American's religions freedoms.
"Look, I'm a Christian," Cruz said. "Scripture commands us to love everybody. And what I have been talking about, with respect to same sex marriage, is the constitution, which is what we should all be focused on. The constitution gives marriage to elected state legislatures. It doesn't give the power of marriage to a president or to un-elected judges to tear down the decisions enacted by democratically elected state legislatures."
This year, Ted Cruz, and 11 other U.S. Senators, introduced the State Marriage Defense Act, which would allow states to use their own interpretations to define marriage, and would block the federal government from applying its own definition of marriage onto states.
"I support traditional marriage and we should reject attempts by the Obama administration to force same-sex marriage on all 50 states," Cruz told 12News about the State Marriage Defense Act. "The State Marriage Defense Act helps safeguard the ability of states to preserve traditional marriage for their citizens."
The Supreme Court is expected to make a ruling next month on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage.
Spot on, get the Federal Government away from State issues.

I’m SURE I saw a screen shot of a news network heading saying Cruz REFUSED to DENY that he has animosity towards gays. Now I have to go find it.

So when MOOOOCHELLE tries to help school children eat healthier, it shows she truly “cares” for the children.
But if Cruz or other conservatives try to convince people to abandon a lifestyle that will shorten their lives by 20-30 years he is accused of having animosity toward them.

In a parallel universe wouldn’t you love to see a reporter ask Hillary or any other Democratic presidential candidate if they had any animosity towards babies since they’re in favor of aborting as many of them as they can.
Since liberals are in favor of homosexuality they don’t care about facts relating to homosexuality. Facts don’t matter if the interfere with a liberal narrative.

Cruz nails it as usual.
He rightly pointed out in that clip (The Right Scoop has posted the video) that those advocating gay rights should be more concerned about the fact that radical Muslim Jihadist were putting gays to death.
It was a good video and worth watching.
The other candidates are scared to death of this issue.
