I think I know what Romney is up to.
Mitt hates Jeb Bush and Mitt is using Rubio as a weapon against Bush. Mitt thinks if Rubio can win Florida, Bush will go down in flames.
In Mitt’s mind, Rubio is Jeb’s enemy and the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
On another note, how bad does Mitt want to get in this race now that Hillary is going down in flames? He must be kicking himself for getting out of the race last month.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to get back in again. The laughter of the politco people would be unbearable.
Mitt is angling to be a Vice-President. Rubio probably has been the only candidate willing to entertain the idea.
