Her missteps ended up hurting McCains bid and Barack Obama became the nations first black president. Lie.

I want a Cruz-Martinez ticket so I can infuriate liberals by massively over-pronouncing their names in Spanish., trilling the R's and drawing out vowels.

"Correct, it is Congress and the States" There! Fixed it, and thank you for your patience with this discussion.
As you read the rest of this relatively simple post, please bear the following in mind. We probably wouldnt be having this discussion if state lawmakers hadnt ratified the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, foolishly giving up the voices of the state legislatures in Congress by doing so.
Congresss power to regulate the military, interstate commerce and negotiate treaties aside, practically the only constitutional authority that Congress has to regulate anything within any state is to deliver the mail (1.8.7). Nearly everything else that the feds do in the states is based on 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the corrupt feds have stolen from the states.
The 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.

Palin came into the picture very very late - Sept 2008.
Having been an office holder in a low population, remote state, she was basically unknown nationally.
The MSM was able to write her story.
And of course the journ-0-lists were “all in” for Obama.

Her missteps ended up hurting McCains bid and Barack Obama became the nations first black president. I stopped reading there. Analysis that flawed from the outset isn't worth bothering with.

I think the country is tired of gimmicks. “The First This!” “The First That!”
People are hungry for good, sound, honest leadership. Period.

Heck Yeah! You would think we would have learned our lesson that electing someone as a “first” can be a disaster.

Those ‘attributes’ describe both the leading Dem candidates at this point.

It will confuse the heck out of the opposition. It will be nearly impossible to attack a trans-gender person from the liberal left side! lol

The author obviously isn’t acknowledging the woman jarrett who has been running the nation into the tank since 2008. Then there is the mrs who I can imagine takes over when she is given the time. There is no way the man in the top spot is running anything.

Agreed. I couldn’t care less about a female president.
I’ll even go so far as to say I prefer a male in that position. Controversial, I know...

In a world where our enemy has zero respect for women, I think we would be better represented by men in leadership on a national scale.

Didn’t help that Ferraro cried like a little girl after losing.

I spoke to someone the other day who has some political connections. He mentioned that Ferraro almost had a collapse towards the end of the campaign and was under Dr. care-- bed rest and such.
All very hush hush and that she cancelled numerous political events. I did not recall that occurring, but to be honest, I was not paying that clos of attention back then.
