Income inequality is a completely fabricated issue that has no real meaning except as an excuse to justify further government meddling in the economy.
Who cares if some corporate CEO, or some brilliant entrepreneur makes billions? How does that hurt anyone? Bill Gates’ wealth is billions of times more than mine, and his earning of it has enriched my life immeasurably.
Of course, if we’re talking about scumbags like Bill Clinton using their political offices to make hundreds of millions of dollars without adding one shred of actual value to the actual economy, that’s something else. But unfortunately, we’re NOT talking about that.
He has a point.
The GOP ought to be focused on prosperity that encompasses the middle and working class—and pulls more of the underclass into the full economy.
This “income inequality” stuff is a Marxist argument.
